Please use this form to anonymously submit your breakup letter for use in Eloa’s performance night (8-9 September at 7 p.m. in Kvääristö). Please remove any and all information from the letter that could potentially be used to identify you or the other party/parties involved (e.g. names, birthdates). Keep in mind, that if you personally did not write the submitted letter you must obtain consent from the original author prior to its submission.

Entries marked with an asterisk are mandatory. If you wish to send more than one letter, please fill out an individual form for each letter.

A selection of submitted letters will be used as working material during the performance nights. Furthermore, submitted letters may be read aloud during the performance.

Breakup letter as text

Please write up your breakup letter in text form. Make sure to remove all identifying information (such as names, usernames, exact addresses; also remove information that could be combined with reasonable effort to determine the identity in question, e.g., “40-year-old herring dealer and wheel repairer from Western Finland”). When writing the text, use the tag “***” in place of specific identifying information. In the performance all identifying information will be replaced with invented names, places, etc. Submissions containing identifying information will not be used in the performance and will be disposed of appropriately.

Consent of the author

I have personally written the submitted text or have received the consent of the original author to submit their text for use during Eloa ry’s performance on breakup letters. The submitter/original author of the letter commits to having their submission shortened or edited when and if necessary. Due to the nature of the event no financial compensation will be provided in return for the submissions. For the purpose of the performance, Eloa ry will store the submitted letter and other information on this form without any identifying information related to the submitter/original author. The information on this form will be stored indefinitely. The submitter/original author can request the removal of all stored information starting 1.10.2022 via a form located in the Eloa ry website and by using the alias used in this form.
